Quotation processing

Uploaded supplier quotation PDFs are processed on QuoteCompare's hosted application environment to extract commercial data and generate a comparison report. Source PDFs are removed from application storage after a successful report is generated.

Generated analysis data

The generated report and structured analysis data are stored on the application environment so the result can be downloaded. The current beta service does not provide a permanent customer document library, and hosted application storage may be cleared during service restarts or deployments.

AI fallback

When a field is ambiguous and AI fallback is enabled, selected extracted document text may be sent to the configured OpenAI API for structured extraction. QuoteCompare instructs the model not to invent unsupported commercial values.

Exchange rates

Reference exchange-rate requests may be sent to a public FX-rate service when currency normalization is required. Supplier quotation PDFs are not required for those rate requests.

Payments and contact

Payments are processed by Stripe. Contact-form email delivery is handled through the configured email provider. Payment credentials are not stored by QuoteCompare.
